A life measured in
good decisions
and great stories.

I’m Scott—an investment manager, Saint Mary’s supporter, bocce captain, technology enthusiast, and enthusiastic student of whatever comes next.

A little about me
Home baseDanville, California

EST. 1985 ALWAYS LEARNING

Curious by nature.
Disciplined by experience.

Markets reward patience. Life rewards curiosity. I try to bring both to everything I do.

After more than 40 years as an investor, I’ve learned to appreciate a sound process, a healthy respect for risk, and the freedom that comes from knowing what matters. Away from the charts, you’ll usually find me with Laurie, following the Gaels, planning the next trip, testing Tesla’s latest software—or trying to coax one more point from the Bocce Boomers.

A few favorite pursuits.

Serious interests, approached with perspective—and usually a little humor.

Go Gaels

Saint Mary’s

A proud supporter of Saint Mary’s College—especially Gaels men’s basketball, the School of Science, and the students and programs that make the campus special.

The capo’s corner

Bocce

Captain of the Bocce Boomers: part strategist, part scheduler, part uniform coordinator. We play to win—but never at the expense of a good post-match story.

Roll well. Laugh often.

Roads well traveled

Exploring

From New England lakes to European cities, Tahoe weekends to Formula 1 streets—travel is best when there’s time to wander and someone good beside you.

Next stop: always under discussion

Manage risk first.
Performance follows.

My investment philosophy—and not a bad approach to life.

01Stay curious

The best ideas often begin with a better question.

02Keep perspective

A plan should help you sleep better at night.

03Enjoy the roll

Not every shot lands. The next one still might.

Good people. Good places.
A few good stories.

That’s the portfolio I value most.
